Imagine and Plan

These resources in collaboration with other local organizations will help to imagine and plan your new or expanding business!

Pop-Up Shop Program

This program is one of our newest resources for business owners. This program, in collaboration with CouleeCap, allows for startup businesses to test their business out by receiving a trial run in a prime storefront location in Downtown La Crosse. Business owners will get the first three months free and will get to test out their business idea without the initial long-term commitment of opening a business location. For questions on this program you can contact Aaron Reimler, CouleeCap business and income developer ([email protected]) or Downtown Mainstreet Executive Director, Robin Moses ([email protected]).

Co.Starters

Co.Starters program is a nine-week business owner and entrepreneur program. This program is for anyone interested in launching a new product or service but aren’t sure how to do it. It’s a great learning tool that provides the skills, insights and relationships needed to plan out and launch a new idea. For questions on this program you can also contact Aaron Reimler at CouleeCap and can apply online at https://www.couleeco.com/

Entrepreneurial Training Program

The Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) at the Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse helps those in need of planning out their businesses or entrepreneurial ideas and lets them test it out, rework it and then eventually create a complete business plan. More information on the Small Business Development Center, and specifically this program can be found here.
