Professional Women in Transition – Learning & Workshops @ Viterbo University Reinhart Center
Jan 29 @ 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Professional Women in Transition - Learning & Workshops @ Viterbo University Reinhart Center

Growing your career?
Re-entering the workforce?
Working a job that has you under-employed?
Developing or improving your professionalism?
This career-changing event will help women in a wide variety of transitions in their professional life. You’ll hear from a panel of amazing local women who have powerful stories to share about their experiences and how they navigated the waters during times of professional transition.

We’ll hear opening words from Tom Thibodeau of Viterbo University’s Servant leadership program, and hear a highlight on “Place of Grace”, a local non-profit fighting homelessness in the La Crosse area. All donations ($20 suggested) collected for this event are directly donated to Place of Grace as a monetary gift.

You’ll then experience a panel discussion lead by these four strong women, just like you who have stories worth hearing!

Jamie Dahl – Stay-at-home mom to successful entrepreneur
Tami Plourde – Silent partner to owning & operating multiple businesses
Holly Teska – Receptionist to Executive leadership coach
Kathy Bramlett -Young entrepreneur to champion & mentor in a predominantly male industry
The remaining time for this event will be a series of short, small-group workshops focusing on individual topics, then a networking time for all to mingle and ask questions will be our wrap-up for the event.

You’ll leave this event with the opportunity to receive a professional headshot, a career profiling session and a vast amount of learnings from our panel of women as well as the LAK group’s team of HR professionals on-hand to answer any and all relevant questions as to what the workplace is looking for today.

Your community partners on this event are:

LAK Group – LAK works with leaders to transform business goals into human strategies that put the right people in the right seats so everyone wins – even as your market changes.

Thrivent Financial – A fortune 300 financial organization providing values-driven solutions through expert services and guidance

Viterbo University – A La Crosse community that prepares students for faithful service and ethical leadership

Place of Grace – The benefactor of all donations collected from the event. Place of Grace offers hospitality three days a week and one Sunday a month. During each day, the community gathers to share in a meal and build relationship.
