Downtown Mainstreet, Inc. (DMI) is the non-profit business group focused on the continued revitalization of Historic Downtown La Crosse. Historic Downtown La Crosse, just steps away from the Mississippi River and Riverside Park, includes one of the largest historic districts in the state. Nearly 100 buildings contribute to the historic character. Stroll past our renovated downtown architecture, with buildings that range from 1866 Victorian, 1940 Art Deco, to those currently under construction. Enjoy our unique shops, lively entertainment, museums, art galleries, and restaurants.
