Genie’s Rock Shop is a gem you will not want to miss. Located in the heart of downtown La Crosse; getting there is half the fun. We are three blocks from the Mississippi River, in one of the oldest buildings in town – The Lynne Tower. You take the elevator to the third floor; walk down the hall; and your mouth falls open. What stone or crystal does Genie’s Rock Shop not have?

Each crystal, mineral, and fossil is hand picked with an eye to quality and price. Our prices range from shark teeth for 25 cents for the kids to beautiful crystal clusters for several hundred dollars. We have minerals from Amethyst to Zeolites. We have other fossils that the kids can afford such as Mastodon Teeth partials, Mosasaur Teeth, Ammonites, Orthoceras, Ferns, etc. We haven’t forgotten the serious collectors either. The shop also carries Jewelry, Malas, Deities, Books on stones, Pendulums, Smudging supplies, Stone beads, Stone animals, and some Incenses. We also have stone Lamps, Book ends, and Candle holders for that perfect gift.
In order to aide the local economy and support local artists, we often carry items on consignment. Here you will find Cabs, Jewelry, Beaded Trees, some Pottery and even some Children’s Books signed by the local author.
Every now and then we follow a certain theme. At this time we have Salt Lamps. Also, right now we are following a Chinese Mythos, displaying animals and others in Jade and Lapis Lazuli. You can follow our facebook page @ Genie’s Rock Shop to see some of the pictures; or just come on in.
Genie brings to the Shop years of experience and believes in personalized service. So if you need help picking out that perfect gift, or just want something to help you feel better, just let her know and she will be glad to help. Sometimes she helps with identifying stones; if she can; and sends you home with a tag so you do not forget. If you just want to browse – have fun.
